  • eGovernment SIG - (eGov SIG) Although this is a member driven forum to discuss identity issues in international and domestic eGovernemt policies and best practices, the group objectives and goals as well as some work items have been agreed upon as 'open' to public review.
  • French SIG - Facilitating collaboration and discussion among French speaking Liberty members and non-members with an interest in identity management applications and services.
  • Health Identity Management SIG - (HIM SIG) A public discussion group focused on discussions about identity management in the healthcare vertical, creating a forum for industry recommendations and action
  • Identity Assurance SIG - Identity Assurance SIG (IA SIG) acts as a group to discuss extension of the Trust Framework of the EIAP (Electronic Identity Authentication Partnership), the Credential Assessment Framework of the US E-Authentication Initiative, and other industry contributions, into a harmonized, best-of-breed industry standard operational framework for managing trusted credentials across identity federations to foster inter-federation on a global scale.
  • Japan SIG Acting as a forum to discuss all aspects of identity management in and for Japan (in Japanese)
  • Norway SIG - Acting as a forum to discuss all aspects of identity management in and for Norway (in Norwegian)
  • Strong Authentication SIG - (SA SIG) Acting as a forum to discuss, research and address strong authentication (SA) of all kinds, physical and logical (e.g., corporate remote access, wireless LAN access, online banking, etc.)
  • Web Services Harmonization SIG - (WSH SIG) The goal of this SIG is to expediently identify and document the use cases that drive this harmonization need, and will serve to prioritize the technical work that will ultimately be done in another forum(s)
