[edit] 目的 (Description and Goals)

リバティ・アライアンス日本SIG (Special Interest Group) 設立の目的

• 日本におけるアイデンティティ管理について技術からビジネス、生活、社会、規制まで、幅広く議論する場を提供する
• 日本の産・学・官の各市場に対し、リバティ・アライアンスの成果（技術仕様，ガイドライン等）の導入を促進する
• リバティ・アライアンス仕様をより日本市場に適したものにするために、日本独自の社会慣習・法制度をはじめとする外部環境を考慮し、適用ガイドラインや技術的な推奨案等を策定、さらにはエキスパート・グループに提案する

The Japan SIG is responsible for:

• Providing a forum to extensively discuss issues in identity management in and for Japan, including but not limited to those related to technology, policy, business and society.
• Promoting the adoption of Liberty deliverables in Japanese market and government
• Generating best practice guidelines, suggestions and technical recommendations that feed into appropriate Liberty expert groups to make Liberty deliverables better suited to Japanese market environment considering external environment such as social convention and legal system in Japan

日本SIGの取組み：

• 日本の産・学・官の各市場に関する知見を提供する
• リバティ・アライアンスの日本独自の側面を議論する場を提供する
• 日本の興味，関心をアソシエイト・メンバー (Associate Members)，アフィリエイト・メンバー (Affiliate Members) と情報共有し，意見交換する．SIGの成果をリバティ・アライアンス内の関連組織（エキスパート・グループ (Expert Groups)，サービス・グループ (Services Groups)，マネジメントボード (Management Board)，リバティ・アライアンス運営スタッフ (Liberty staff) ）と共有する
• 日本の業界イベントの調査や企画，運営に参加する
• 日本に焦点をあてたリバティ・アライアンス内外向けのウェブキャストを企画，運営する
• 広報のための寄稿記事や配布資料を収集する
• リバティ・アライアンスの日本に関するトピックについてスポークスパーソンを募集し手配する
• コンテンツ作成，維持，公開や配布のため，関連するエキスパート･グループとの交流を持ち，また，PR活動，アナリスト関係，開発者支援活動やイベントの運営などのサポートをビジネス・マーケティング・エキスパート・グループ (BMEG) に提案する．

The Japan SIG will be chartered to:

• Provide Liberty with subject matter expertise with respect to private and public sectors of Japanese market
• Become a discussion forum for Japan-specific aspects of the Liberty Alliance
• Provide an information sharing and feedback forum for Associate/Affiliate members with an interest in Japan, and to communicate core findings of the SIG to the relevant Liberty Alliance organizational entities (Expert/Services Groups, Management Board, Liberty staff)
• Where appropriate, take part in the identification, planning, execution and follow-up of Japan industry events
• Where appropriate, plan and execute Japan-focused Liberty-internal and external Web casts
• Collect inputs for external communications, such as collateral materials and contributed articles
• Provide Liberty with spokespersons on Japan-related topics related to the Liberty agenda
• Interact with relevant Expert Groups for content creation, maintenance, publication and distribution of materials. Support for PR activities, analyst relations, developer activities and events management will also be recommended to BMEG for action.
  

[edit] 活動の評価尺度 (Criteria for Success)

• e-mailでの議論や日本関連のイベントの推進及び参加の状況
• 他のリバティ・アライアンス関連組織との協調および日本に関連する知見の提供の状況

• Drive and actively participate in e-mail discussions, teleconferences, and Japan-related events.
• Collaborate and provide Japan-related expertise to other Liberty entities as requested.

[edit] 継続期間 (Duration)

日本SIGは，リバティ・アライアンスのマネジメントボードにより設立され，状況に応じて存続する．

リソース要件

• 日本SIGは以下のサポートを必要とします:
  • メーリングリストを開設し，アーカイブを含め，全てのメンバーに公開する
  • 全ての関係者がアクセスできる専用番号をもつグローバルな電話会議設備
  • リバティ・アライアンス内の他のグループや活動との連携を促進するための窓口となる
  • 他のSIGやエキスパート･グループと協調し，運営側のサポートのもと，組織横断的に連携した活動を行う
• 日本SIGメンバーに期待されている事柄:
  • e-mailでのディスカッションや電話会議，日本関連イベントの促進と積極的な参加
  • 日本国外のリバティ・アライアンス関係者に対する，日本関連情報の提供

The Japan SIG is chartered by the Liberty Management Board. It may be amended from time to time.

Resource Requirements

• The SIG requires the following support from the Liberty organization:
  • Mail lists established, with archives, on the public pages with a dedicated wiki
  • Globally available conference call facilities, with a dedicated conference call number which all participants can access
  • Ability to delegate tasks to appointed Program Management office including, but not limited to, management of the mail lists, registration/retirement of participants, and arranging of conference call facilities for external and internal use
• Active member participants in the SIG are expected to:
  • Actively participate and drive the e-mail discussions, teleconferences, and regional events.
  • Collaborate and provide regional expertise to other Liberty entities as requested.

主なディスカッションはメーリングリストや電話にて行います．定期的に対面での全体会議を開催し，必要があれば適宜会議を催します．

The Japan SIG will primarily communicate using the e-mailing lists and conference calls. A SIG open mailing list and wiki has been created.

どなたでも、日本SIGに参加できます．

Membership in the Japan SIG is open to the general public.
